Day Eighty Seven

Penelope hasn't been sleeping very well lately, and it's been sort of affecting our days :/ I know she isn't enjoying it, maybe she's even in pain because of her teeth? In any case, we are all sleeping as much as we can in the Rindge house! :)

Penelope HAS been eating very well, though. She's still working on the sweet potatoes I made her, and loving them! Here's a few pics of Daddy feeding her...

Day Eighty Six

Quick blog post from a tired Mommy tonight...

Penelope and I were snuggle bunnies in bed today, since she had a rough night last night. I hope tonight is better-- especially since Daddy will be home in the morning, and we'll wanna play!

Day Eighty Five

Today Penelope and I were alone until Daddy came home at 6pm-- half day, woohoo!! :)

Before then, we went to the library and grocery store; we wanted to have dinner going when Papa came home. :) once Daddy came home he took P on a walk while I finished dinner (chicken cutlets, mashed potatoes and corn on the cob).

Penelope is sitting on her own fairly well-- she still needs some help, but not for long I'm sure! She's also babbling more, but it's more gibberish and less moaning and groaning.

Also, she loves sitting in her new(ish) play pen! (Bottom pic) We put the Boppy pillow around her for support and a bunch of toys- she has a ball and I can walk away to do dishes, make tea or grab the laundry. Win win!! :)

Day Eighty Four

Today, Mana visited (I have to remember to get pics of the two of them next week!) and took Penelope on a walk. They went to Canyon Park and back. Mana opened her late birthday gift, and we think she liked it! (A camera)

Later, we ran a few errands and P missed a nap-- well, it's not a good thing for our baby to miss a nap! She was over tired when we got home and had a hard time falling asleep for the night. I can never tell how she'll do on any given day, but I suppose she's like any of us: some good days, some not so good. She's eating we'll, growing and has only been sick once (a cold we all three ended up having- one after another). I can't complain, she's a baby and she's doing what babies do!
We hope to see Daddy tomorrow-- he may just have a half day, we'll see. :)

Day Eighty Three

Today Daddy took Penelope out on the front lawn to play (on a blanket) while Mama went on a food run. They looked really cute when I pulled into the driveway. :) (The first pics)

And later on after dinner, we all went on a walk, Penelope was in her bike trailer stroller. We had a nice, relaxing day before Daddy goes back to work tomorrow.

Tomorrow we'll see Mana :)

Day Eighty Two

Today Mama, Daddy & Penelope got to spend the day together. :) Daddy has had a few days in a row off, and it's just so nice being together.

Penelope is sitting so well on her own now! We've been sitting her in chairs, in the play pen and on rugs so she can practice, and it's paying off! She's also eating like she's done it her whole life: with an appetite! :) Our cutie finished all the sweet potatoes Daddy took out of the freezer for her today. We'll start making her other types of vegetables now that we know she can handle it. How exciting!

Day Eighty One

Today we got to have Daddy home and all to ourselves! :) We went to have breakfast very early, got home and napped. When we woke, we began shopping for Mana's birthday dinner: turkey chili, cornbread and birthday cake! Before Mana was due to come, we went in the jacuzzi-- Penelope loves the water, and thanks to her swim lessons, she was comfortable on her back while Daddy held her to practicing floating. :)

Dinner turned out really well, and we all ate so much! We needed a walk afterwards, so we all went to Fairview Park and back-- just enough walking to not feel so bad about eating so much!

Oh, and we took some more pics of P in front of her banner... She's growing so fast, last time I swear she wasn't as tall!

What a nice day... Happy birthday to Mana! :)
