Day Ninety Four

Since we were supposed to be in Las Vegas today, Daddy had the day off. We would have LOVED to sleep in, but I'm pretty sure those days are over! :/ Instead, we were up at 8, which isn't that bad, and began working around the house. Tom did yard work, front, back and pool, and I cleaned up inside, did laundry and unpacked our TWELVE bags from the weekend! We were pretty pooped, but went to Costco anyway. :) Baby girl had a good day hanging out with us while we did chores. She hung out with Daddy outside for a bit, and seemed to like that!

After dinner, we took a walk (pic), and we also took a few pics of Penelope sitting on our bed looking way too cute :)

Lets hope baby sleeps well tonight-- night!

Day Ninety Three

Ahhhh, we are finally back at home today (from Las Vegas). We were going to stay until Sunday, but we missed home! It took us around 4 hours to drive home, and Penelope was so well behaved. We all napped, then took a walk. Bedtime came a little late, but that's ok. :) What's NOT ok is that when we finally did make it into bed, a spider did as well. Yep, Mama almost died of heart attack. Thankfully Daddy the spider slayer was home, otherwise it would've been a verrrrrry long night for Mama.

Penelope is fast asleep, and now it's our turn.... Goodnight!

Day Ninety Two

Today was another long day, but not bad! :) We ate the breakfast buffet at the Luxor: YUM! After, we got Penelope to nap since she'd been up since 5am (early EARLY birdy!) and got a few winks ourselves. Penelope ate some lunch, and then we were off to the pool where we hung out with my mom, sister and her family on some astro turf! :/ We decided dinner at Buca di Beppo would be the best way to top off a fun day, and we were right! :)

Tomorrow we'll have our last full day in Las Vegas-- I wonder what we'll do?!

Day Ninety One

Longest. Day. Ever. Quickly I'll highlight and then sleep (P and Daddy are!). We went to Daddy's Leadership Academy graduation ceremony/brunch early. Mana & Grandaddy came with us. Straight after we drove Las Vegas for my Dad's retirement party. We made it here at 5pm, and Penelope slept most of the way! :)

We went to My Dad's party at 8pm tonight, and now we're back at the Luxor, all snug in bed. Tom and I have been up since 4:30am, so it's been quite a long one.

Day Ninety

Busy day today... Mana came to watch Penelope while Mama ran some errands. Then we had to pack for our weekend trip to Las Vegas-- it took a very long time!! :/ Penelope needs so much, and we must be prepared. Then getting ready for bed, I took these pics.... Goodnight!!! We have such a long day ahead of us tomorrow, I really hope we all get to sleep!

Day Eighty Nine

Today, Penelope and I went to the library to return some videos. It's strange... Whenever we go to the library (or Michael's last time), she poops as soon as we get inside! I've changed P in the library restroom at least 5 times! Thankfully, it's equipped with a nice big stall with a changing table. :)

Later, as I was thinking about what I was going to pack for Penelope for our weekend trip to Las Vegas, I pulled out some clothes of hers that I needed her to try on. Many of them are hand-me-downs from my sister or cousin, so it's all really cute stuff. I had to post the pic with the Hello Kitty denim overall dress-- super cute!

For dinner, I fed P sweet potatoes (her fave so far) and peas. The bottom pics are her making a "yuck" face after trying peas for the first time! :) Mama had to stop after she gagged (and almost barfed) a few times. I'll try fresh peas next time.

Day Eighty Eight

This week Daddy is attending a class morning through the afternoon, so we get to have him home nights-- yay! :) Penelope loves it when both of us are home to play with her, I see her look from my face to Tom's and she's beaming! She's a Mommy AND Daddy's girl for sure.

Penelope and I did a little shopping today, and made dinner when Papa came home. After dinner we peeled ourselves off the sofa to take P on a walk around our neighborhood, she just loves that.
