We woke up at 7:30 today!!!!!! Woohoo! Penelope got over her 5:45 AM thing, and actually slept past the crack of dawn. Mama was very happy to see sunlight when she first heard P's cries. After our usual hour in Mama & Daddy's bed, watching the news, Penelope went down for her morning nap. It's usually her best nap of the day, but today she only slept half an hour. I'm guessing its because she slept so long the previous night and didn't really need it. We both bathed (takes us about 1 1/2 hours for both) and got ready to go to LA to visit Aunt Anita and to give her a late birthday gift. (We got her a cute purse)
We had fun in LA, having Tito's Tacos for lunch, walking to Mother's Beach in the Marina to watch Bella play, and then a quick stop for icecream. Anita helped us out yet again by letting us use her big, nice play pen, her Baby Bullet (a system to make baby food), some Dr. Brown's bottles, and some more clothes. We LOVE hand-me-downs! :) P got a new swimsuit in the clothes, to wear at swim class-- we'll have to make her an appointment for another class very soon.
P went down pretty easy, and Mama got to sleep. Only thing missing here is Daddy, but we won't see him till Monday.... :/ We love you, Daddy!!!
