Day One Hundred Five

Today was a beach day! We woke up early to Daddy's kisses; after Penelope's morning nap, we packed up (everything but the kitchen sink) and off we went! :) P liked the beach at first, but then she got sleepy (cranky), and the day went downhill from there. :( Poor baby girl wasn't used to sleeping at the beach, and so her nap was very short. We had to leave earlier than we would have liked to because P wasn't happy. That's okay, though, we had a good time.

The rest of the day/evening was tough because Penelope was hot, uncomfortable, very tired, whiny and clingy. It was hard keeping her content , so I put her to bed early... She's been up and down 3 times since 7pm (it's now 9pm). I only hope she's okay, and that she isn't sick or in pain! I wish she could talk! The worst it could be, I think, is teething. It's about that time, she is 6 months old! We'll see how she feels in the morning.
