Day 270

Well today was our last Daddy-less day... For now! Three day shifts make us miss him lots-- we try and keep busy so we don't think about it too much, so we are okay. The worst times are when there's a big, ugly spider that Daddy usually takes care of, or when it's evening time and we wanna snuggle... But we make it work, and are getting used to it. I imagine once we have one more in the house, we'll be so busy, we'll never have a moment to stop and feel sad missing Daddy! 

Today we spent a lot of time at home (missed swim class) because Mama wasn't feeling so great. All pregnancy stuff, it'll all be over soon!! We read books, sang songs, and I helped P begin to learn how to do a somersault! :) She is walking more every day, and today we had fun trying on all her shoes to see what fits now that she's growing so big! We settled on some funny little brown boots, she wore them around the house and seemed to get a kick out of walking around in them. :)

After a run to Trader Joe's and a bath, Penelope and I lie down for our nightly cuddles, and she fell asleep quietly and quickly. I still can't get over that. :)
