Day 135

Today Penelope and I woke up early(ish), ate breakfast and raced over to the Children's Orchard (a local children's clothing consignment store) for their $5 fill-a-bag sale! The store opened at 10am, so we were there at about 9:15-- I thought we were late, but the line quickly grew behind us... LONG! Lots of mothers and mothers to be shopping for cute clothes. At 9:55, we were told we couldn't bring P's stroller in the sale-- it was outside, in back of the store. I had to take her car seat out of it and carry her. About 25 pounds... Maybe more. Not cool. It was super crowded, mothers and grandmothers pushing and shoving, flinging clothes here and there. It was time to be pushy, myself then!! I got P four bags of really cute outfits and a pair of jellies! I had to pat my own back. :)

We took a walk to the Fish Fry (because its there, and why not?!) and had a fun time just looking at the rides and sitting on a blanket under a tree.

Penelope went to sleep tonight during her evening bottle, and only yelped once when I put her in her crib. Yay!! I hope she's getting the hang of it-- but, I can't hope for too much. I'm happy for tonight, and that's good.

I took a pic of all the clothes Penelope outgrew... And looked through (the smaller) bin for larger clothes that she may be ready for. I cleaned up her dresser drawers and now there isn't a thin in there for a newborn or 3 month old-- only 6 months and up! :) Ph! Also, the last pic is how I found her when I looked up from sorting through her drawers-- she WAS sitting in her crib playing with her toys. I guess she's going to start pulling herself up now-- yikes!!!! :/

That's all for tonight.... Time to enjoy my hour of silence before sleep. Goodnight.
