Day 136

What a fun day for the Rindge family today! We all woke up from our morning naps (P woke up at 6am and wore us out-- we all passed out around 8:30), and rushed off to the Costa Mesa Fish Fry over at Fairview Park. They were having a baby contest, and registration was at 10:45-- we made it in time and entered Penelope. Whatever they were judging for, we just knew she'd win! Daddy carried P up to judging, and again up on stage when winners were announced. Mommy was just a little shy. :) Well, our baby won a trophy for "Most Lovable"!! Hooray! You've never seen two parents more proud-- we all had fun, too, so it was a really great time. Penelope's trophy is sitting on her bookshelf, I am smiling just thinking about it!

As for her sleeping-- she's still crying a good bit before bed, but I think she'll be used to it soon. I know I still am, too... :/
