Day 294

Today was a sort of busy day. We had a pre-op appointment at Hoag Hospital, where we're going to have our baby tomorrow, then it was all preparations: grocery shopping, cleaning, writing notes, getting Penelope's room in order and our bags packed. 

Before Daddy went to class, he took P outside to play on her little bike-- she can now get off it on her own, but still needs help getting on. She does scoot pretty well on it, but has a hard time steering. In time!! :) After Daddy went to class, I made Penelope and I spinach and ricotta ravioli for dinner-- it was okay. Then, I bathed Penelope, we played and read books until bedtime. I made sure to hug her extra long, and to tell her again what was going to happen, and that we would be back just as soon as we could, with her baby sister. I hope she does well! 

We'll be up before sunrise tomorrow, just like P usually is! We'll be sure to wake baby girl so that she's aware of us leaving. We'll leave home at 6:45 to be at Hoag by 7am. We are so happy the day has finally arrived... We can't wait to meet our next princess! :)
