Day 227

Today was another long, hot day! We woke up and started our business immediately: went to get paint, and started painting P's room pink!! It was very hot, but not as bad as yesterday, and we had some help too- thanks, Mana! ;) Afterwards, T, Penelope & Mana went swimming. I watched and took pics of P being tossed in the air! She absolutely loves swimming with her Daddy. In fact, she's really becoming a Daddy's girl, following him around, crying when he leaves the room, and just crawling all over him whenever she can! I love it, it's nice to see them play. :) I will start telling her where Daddy is going when he leaves, so that she can get used to it, and all, and know he'll be back. 

We are done painting P's room, and will make the next step on Tuesday-- buying a rug and some curtains. Then we can put all her furniture in there and get her used to it asap. That'll also give me time to deep clean her old room for our new wild animal. ;) 

We had an awesome time having Papa home for four days, and will miss him lots tomorrow! That's all for today, folks. 

And Penelope, when you read this later in life: you were an absolute stinker today!!!! :P You are the love of my life, but girl, you had yourself a doozie-- whining, crying, and wanting ALL of Mama & Daddy's attention! I chalk it up to teething, so you're off the hook. You'd better watch it once you have all your teeth!! I won't have any more excuses for ya!
