Day 242

Today was a good one... We began by sleeping in: woohoooo!!!! Daddy got home at 7:30am, and us gals were still out! :) I guess P woke at 8am, I did shortly after. We were all in high spirits until we learned that our sweet, kind-hearted chicken Sandra was very very sick and had to be put down. :'( T had to do it, there was no other choice. I have to say-- that chicken grew on me.... SHE was a sweetheart and I'd always run outside to her aid if I saw she was bro g picked on. (By Crazy Jen, that psycho!!) Anyway, she was a dear, sweet pet and she'll be missed! Her eggs too. 

Late, me and Penelope went walking with our neighborhood friends, Katie & Michelle and their kids, it's always good to see our new friends! :)

Toward the afternoon, and after P's nap, Daddy went to the beach with a friend and so us girls went to Babies R Us and finally found a cute, soft crib bumper for P's crib. It'll (hopefully) help with overboard binkies and arms & legs sticking out of (and getting caught in) crib slats. We'll see! ;)

It was hot at the beginning of the day, but not too bad in the end, we aren't complaining! It was a good day, and we still have Papa home for 3 days-- yay! More good days ahead. Here's a couple pics from today... Goodnight.
