So, this morning our baby girl actually slept in-- 8am!!!!! Really, she started "talking" at 8:44, but I lie in bed until she started crying at 8. I can hardly believe it. Also, she only woke up once last night-- at 2am, so she got lots of rest, and so did I. :) I hope Daddy did, too, I'll have to ask him tomorrow.
So, we had out visit from Mana early today-- 9:30, and those two went to the park and played while Mama got her nails done. I guess P decided to take a power nap on their way home, and decided that would suffice for her morning nap. :/ I tried and tried, but she wouldn't budge. I didn't get her down again until 2ish. We have got to figure out how to keep her awake on those days...
Later this afternoon, we were roasting our buns off, and when I looked at our thermostat, I saw it was 84 degrees! I put our suits on, and we went right in the pool! It was soooooo what we needed to cool down.
We are so happy that Papa had a day off tomorrow, and we'll be looking for things to finish off Penelope's bedroom. I really, really hope we find all we need so that we can get her in it! :)
