Day 165

Finally, a HOT day... And, wouldn't you know it, Daddy isn't home to enjoy it with us. :/ I guess it was just as well, because we had lots of things to do anyway: my prenatal appointment, video store, groceries and a return to Home Depot. My sweet girl had a total of 2 meltdowns today, and now that I think of it, the heat is probably to blame. Our house usually keeps pretty cool in Summer, but sometimes it just doesn't. I keep doors and windows open, but it has a heating effect, so we're left with stuffiness... What are ya gonna do? :) 

Penelope played well on her own today while Mama did some cleaning-- it's nice that she can do that now. I do have to keep an eye out every few minutes though... I'd hate for her to eat a bug or get hurt in some way. She's very curious, and it leads her to whacking her head all the time, one way or another... I suppose she'll be running into these problems what with all her crawling now, but it still hurts Mama!! Anyway, I'm guessing she'll be walking by the time she's 10.5 - 11 months old, if not sooner, she's that eager. 

Here's a few pics from today... P ate a spinach, kale, pineapple & banana Popsicle, and LOVED it! She's definitely her Daddy's girl. ;) Goodnight... Lets hope my baby sleeps well tonight!
