Penelope and I stuck close to home today. Mana came over at 11ish and took P on a walk. Afterwards, they played a bit while I got the living room & kitchen cleaned up, and the watering done. After she left, I put Penelope down for a nap, and wouldn't you know it, I fell asleep with her! It was nice.... We don't do that, like ever, sleep together, so it was nice. Although, sometimes when Papa's home, I'll bring her into bed with us if she wakes up super early (5 or 6), give her milk and let her fall asleep again between us. I know by then we're not sleeping deeply, and that she's safe. It's nice for us to cuddle and just be together like that. :) So, later we ate our dinner together and played till bedtime. P went to sleep with barely a peep. My angel is learning how to be a good sleeper.
Through the Internet on a neighborhood social media site, T and I found some "new" furniture for Penelope's big girl room! And the best part? It's FREE! A glider for the new baby's room, and a crib & changing table for P. We'll convert it to a toddler bed, though. I'm happy we are so blessed with all the hand-me-downs... It will be extra nice to be able to use that money for things that matter: bills, saving, etc.
