Day 181

Today was a long, but fun day. We got up early-- 6am, and ate (see pic of Penelope eating toast) and Daddy got right down to studying (captain's test). P and I got ready, which takes about 2 hours-- from bathing and eating to packing and dressing-- and went to LA to see my parents before they go back to Muskegon tomorrow. My mom bbq'd burgers poolside at my sisters, and made me a yummy chocolate birthday cake! Very sweet. :) We drive home shortly after, which took 2 hours!! :/ After I bathed Penelope and Daddy & I cleaned up the last two days' mess, it was bedtime for Miss P! Yep-- long day, but as usual lately, we had fun. We'll miss Papa tomorrow, but I'm glad I got to see my parents, who I've missed a lot. They asked us to come visit once they're settled in their new home, ad I can't wait to go, show T where I grew up, and have my family there meet MY family. :)
