What a fun day! Daddy came home from work (4 days- yay!) and we went to our friend Frejya's 1st birthday party! They had an awesome setup: a bouncy house, kiddie pools with slides, a bubble machine, face painting, yummy food & ice cream cake! Penelope went in the pool and LOVED it. She actually wasn't scared a BIT, and I chalk it up to her swim lessons and her & Daddy's swims. I was nervous, though, and have to try and not project that on her-- I would hate for her to be too afraid to enjoy herself. After 2 hours, she was pooped, and we had to take her home for a nap. Later, bath time, and I had to take a pic of her funny hairdo!
We had fun today, and we don't plan on stopping tomorrow! :)
Oh, P is really great getting around on her own, and is attempting to stand on her own quite a bit. She'll be walking before 11 months, I predict. At the rate she's going, for sure.
