Day 176

Today was HOT. It's definitely summer, can't deny it a day longer!! I've been in the pool once, T's been sunburned, and P got color on her cheeks... Yeah, summer is here. I look forward to it all winter and fall, but once it's here, I just sweat and pout! :/ I am glad our new baby girl won't have to experience summer as a newborn, like Penelope. 

Anyway. After we had a nice morning-- the usual: coffee for me, milk for P, news and snuggles on our bed. We decided to take a walk to the park since it seemed so nice out. I packed fruit, water, and a blanket for us to lie on the grass. Once we got down the block, we were pretty hot-- we had to stop and sit in the shade for a spell, so it was very nice. On the way home, I gave P her fruit bag-- let me explain, she has this net bag attached to a handle, and you can put whatever you like in the net bag. I put fruit, and she went to town with it!! She got berry juice alllll over herself, and on her new hat! :/ I usually don't like for her to get so messy, but she was enjoying herself, so I let it go! See the pics...

After a relaxing evening, Penelope went to bed without a peep!!!!! I'm so proud of her on these nights... She has come so far! Our angel is learning. 

We'll see Daddy tomorrow, yay! Also, we have a play date-- our very first! We are going to toddler story time at the library. I hope P can sit still for long enough!!
