Today was a super busy day-- me and P had a fun play date with some new friends! That was sorta early, and we came straight home and began working on dinner for our neighborhood dinner party. We had appetizers and drinks (mock tail for me!) at the Fishers' house, main course (my famous enchiladas) at our place, and then dessert and coffee at Isaac & Elsa's. it turned out great, the whole thing, and we got the chance to really spend some time with our awesome neighbors. It was a haul, though-- I think around 16 people in all! It was nice, Gayle, Holly and Lily joined us, too! Penelope was put to bed right as we were beginning dinner, at 7, and she has been asleep ever since. Our little angel, she's doing so well sleeping lately! I am comfortable putting her down and stepping away, knowing she'll be okay. As a parent, you want your kid to be happy-- always, so letting her cry has been REALLY tough for me, but it's paid off, and she really does cry a LOT less now. What a good girl..... :')
Daddy's off to work tomorrow...... BUT, on the bright side, Grandma & Grandpa Rodriguez are in town, so we get to spend time with them-- YAY!!!!! I'm so excited for them to see my baby.
